1. No Legal Advice: The use of the EU Digital Compliance Intelligence Suite (DCIS) serves exclusively as an initial orientation and informational tool. The generated scores, simulations, Digital Twin models, and AI-generated responses constitute a technical and regulatory analysis based on automated algorithms and third-party AI systems (Anthropic Claude API). They do not constitute individual legal advice within the meaning of the German Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz, RDG) or any equivalent regulation in other jurisdictions.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship: Use of this tool does not establish an attorney-client relationship (Mandatsverhältnis) with Rechtsanwalt Theo Funk. A binding engagement for legal advice, EU legal representation (e.g., under Art. 13 DSA or the AI Act), or any other legal service requires a separate written engagement agreement (Step 2).

3. Limitation of Liability: This tool functions as an automated decision-support system. Liability for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or legal correctness of the results generated in Step 1 is limited to cases of intent (Vorsatz) and gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit). Liability for ordinary negligence relating to the tool's outputs is excluded to the extent permitted by law, except in cases of injury to life, body, or health (§ 309 Nr. 7 BGB). The regulatory framework covered (DSA, AI Act, DMA) is subject to ongoing legislative and enforcement developments; the tool reflects a point-in-time analysis and not real-time regulatory status.

4. Transition to Legal Review (Step 2): For legally binding compliance assurance, a detailed risk analysis, the assumption of an EU Legal Representative role under Art. 13 DSA, or the engagement as external Compliance Officer, a personal assessment by Theo Funk, Rechtsanwalt (admitted to the Rechtsanwaltskammer Bamberg), is required. This constitutes Step 2 and is governed by a separate engagement agreement.

5. Data Processing & AI Disclosure: The integrated AI Assistant transmits user inputs to the Anthropic API (Anthropic PBC, San Francisco, USA) for processing. No personal data is required.
